1. Working principle
The vaporizer is equipped with a heat exchange tube bundle. The circulating hot water in the tube bundle transfers heat to the LPG outside the tube bundle (in the shell side). The LPG absorbs heat, vaporizes and becomes superheated. After passing through the filter screen to remove the heavy components, it is input into the pipeline network.
Hot water is usually provided by a hot water circulation system composed of hot water boilers, hot water pumps and high-level water tanks, and the temperature of the hot water is typically 75℃. When the vaporizer is in operation, regardless of the water temperature, the hot water pump should always be kept on to ensure the circulation of the waterway.
The hot water pump should draw water from the hot water boiler to keep it at a relatively low working water pressure (usually <0.1Mpa).
During operation, the vaporizer contains a certain level of liquid LPG. The liquid level will automatically rise or fall to seek to increase or decrease the contact area with the hot water tube bundle, thereby adapting to the changes in gas volume.
The set pressure of the safety valve on the vaporizer is 1.76Mpa. The vaporizer is equipped with on-site display instruments for LPG liquid level, pressure and circulating water temperature.
